Thanks for all of the information everyone, I managed to get in.
I called and asked the gate lady on the Saturday as we were passing and she said 0800 would be fine for the Sunday.
I arrived at 0745 to be sure, and there were only two cars and a campervan. By 0845 about 12 more cars arrived and these split into car shares. They were mainly Inverness Mountaineering Club.
The weather at the head of the valley was sunny but on driving in it worsened to high winds, no visibility and squally showers.
I decided to walk the furthest Munro on the ridge from Inchvuilt and parking wasn’t a problem.
The weather was bad and I was ill, so me and the dog went up Sgurr Fuarr Tholl. I decided to go to the next Munro top and the Munro after that, then returned the same way.
The weather on the ridge was rough and I’m glad I had balaclava and goggles.
Returned to the car and drove out in good weather!
On Tuesday I tried to do the most eastern of the Mullardoch 4, but got to the dam parking spaces, and could barely open the door due to the wind. The temp had dropped to 6 degrees and snow and thunder was forecast, so we binned it for another day
thanks everyone
Dave
