Hi all - I recently bouldered at Nesscliffe following the shropshire bouldering website topos - i had a great time before the rain came in and was wondering if there is anything similar out there for the trad routes? Thanks in advance

PS: also looking for a climbing partner to enjoy Nesscliffe with as my regular climbing buddies are all peaks way

What you want is this https://www.abebooks.co.uk/9781852842000/West-Midlands-Rock-Kerr-Doug-18528... although the price is rather prohibitive currently. My copy is starting to feel like an investment now, although as it was the first guidebook to have my name in it for a route, I'm quite attached to my copy. I'm not sure if the newer guide to just Nesscliffe https://www.needlesports.com/Catalogue/Books-Media/Guidebooks/England/Nessc... is available even second hand at ridiculous prices.

Have you tried working out which route is which just using UKC? I can be a bit of a pain but works reasonably well on some crags. Red Square is pretty obvious and easy to find and you can just count routes left and right from there for example. If you climb really hard than obviously there is loads to go at, but from memory if you're climbing below the mid E grades, you only really need to worry about finding Red Square (E2 5b) and Batman (HVS 5a) as they're are about it!

Yeah like Toby says there is a guide that's not for sale. But you can easily work stuff out from the photos on here.

C&C goes up to the thread tube thingy then left a bit. Marlene in the corner, trouble and nuance are in the corners. 10o'clock is on the fading arete behind the tree. You'll work the rest out.
