Amazing steep limestone crag 15 minutes walk from the village of Casoli in the Tuscan hills. Shady in the afternoon and with a range of long (~25m) routes on leaning limestone. Pockets, edges and tufas, the hanging tufa of Ah! looks amazing and is the cover for the Tuscany guide.
Drive towards the village of Casoli, taking the high road into the village on the approach. Park in the village square, just next to a right hand hairpin and by an old monastry. Follow a narrow lane from the square (the 'High Street), which leads away from the road, until you reach the church. Fork left downhill on a path which then runs level until you reach a Rombolo fountain. Carry on, then branch right uphill to reach a saddle with a small altar. Drop down the other side (~100m) to reach limestone slabs on the right. Climb up these (fixed rope higher up) to reach the base of the crag.
