This sea-cliff lies on the west coast of Sanday about 500m from the island's bridge and 200m beyond the beach. It consists of a long narrow promontory ringed with short cliffs and almost cut off as an island at its southern end. The rock is clean and fast-drying and it has numerous natural belays along its rocky top.
