A huge cliff with a number of adventurous sport routes on generally excellent limestone.
Walk up to the refuge de Veran and then scramble up steep grass and scree behind the farm to the base of the cliff. Good shoes are important, trail running crampons could be useful if the grass is wet. The very steep parts of the approach have a fixed rope.
Descent - The best abseil line is via Ni Dieu ni Maître. You get there via a little grass gully that has a top anchor on 3 pitons.
