This crag is only a short distance from Rampart Road, a good gravel road, so the approach drive is a great deal less hairy than some other crags in the South Platte. LH side of a Parachute Rock is a steep slab, RH side is Alcove Wall, R of a big dihedral.
From Woodland Park drive 12 miles N on Rampart Range Road (gravel but well-maintained) to FR 327 turn-off on R down a side valley. Parking for Parachute Rock is about 0.5 mile down this. The crag is obvious on the N side of the valley. 10 minutes walk up a climbers' trail.
