Peak Amangeldy (rus. Амангельды) is probably the most popular peak in the area. It's height is 3999 MASL. The first documented ascent was in 1939 by Victor Zimin.
The approach to the peak is also popular among skyrunners, Amangeldy Race is an annual popular race from the base camp to the steep buttress of the peak.
A schematic map of the area is available in English https://steelinside.com/tuyuk-su-map-en
A free guidebook for the Amangeldy peak can be found here (in Russian) https://steelinside.com/downloads/Amangeldy.pdf
The approach usually takes 4+ hours from the base camp. For the majority of the routes one has to get to Mynzhylki dam (~1 hour), then to the Alpingrad ledge (~1 hour) and then follow the trail to the left for about 2 hours.
