Tiso/EICA Winter Lecture and Masterclass Series 

TISO outdoor shops are holding a series of winter lectures and masterclasses across Scotland this winter with Tim Emmett appearing at Ratho on the 3rd December. They have generously agreed that any profits will go to the MCofS for the promotion of youth climbing in Scotland.

Tim Emmett - "Rock Ice and Wingsuits" 
Thursday December 3rd, 7.30pm, EICA: Ratho Lecture Theatre 
Para Alpininsm,  the 1st Base jump off the Old Man of Hoy and 1st free ascent of " Under the Eye of the Jackdaw" a 300m M9 (scottish grade 10) in Fressinere France, with an award winning film. 

Tim is a professional extreme sports athlete, well known for his charismatic, enthusiastic and energy charged lectures. His passion for rock climbing and ice climbing has taken him all over the world developing new areas and styles. A regular cover star of climbing magazines, Tim has also made several television appearances, including 'Top Gear' with Leo Houlding, BBC2's 'Wild Climbs' and as co-presenter of BBC1's 'Ultimate Rock Climb' with Julia Bradbury. Tim is at the forefront of world B.A.S.E. Jumping and Para Alpininsm, he is also one of the few people in the world to pilot a wing suit at speeds of up to 250mph. 

Dry Tooling Masterclasses 
2pm-3.30pm and 4pm-5.30pm 
Tim will be coaching two Mastersclasses on the afternoon of 3rd December. 
The classes will be on a 1:6 basis and all participants must have their own axes, helmets and eye protection. Classes will take place in the main EICA arena and will last 1 hour 30 mins.

Masterclass £25/22 concession 
Combined Masterclass and Lecture ticket £32/29 concession
