The aim of The Big Climb weekend will be for people to learn from the experts in a series of workshops covering a wide range of different climbing skills: from bouldering to sport climbing; from training to first aid: from racking your gear to tackling your first big wall.
More details on each of the workshops on the Plas y Brenin site here.
Each of the workshops will be presented by an expert in the field and this will be a unique opportunity for you to learn directly from top climbers in their fields. They will share their knowledge with you in the workshops but also be on-hand throughout the weekend for informal chat sessions around the centre or at the bar.
The program lasts for the whole weekend and you can choose which workshops you would like to attend to in effect create your own program.
There will also be an Expert's Corner, where you will be able to ask questions direct to the experts.
The price for the weekend is just £160 which includes two nights accommodation and all your food, in addition to the world class coaching and tuition and guest speakers on Friday and Saturday night.
Everyone who comes on the course will get a free goody bag packed with some great bits of kit. The exact contents have not been finalised but there will be plenty to get excited about.
We hope to see you at Plas y Brenin!
