The Parrot is a new rope development from EDELRID in the ever-popular 9.8mm diameter. This versatile single rope is made entirely from the sheath yarns leftover from the production of other EDELRID ropes. During the upcycling process, 95% of the high quality leftover yarns from the rest of the rope range are put to use, greatly minimising waste.

Whilst this has no impact on performance, it does produce a completely unique, colourful appearance, ensuring each rope is one of a kind. The Parrot features EDELRID’s Thermo Shield treatment, a heat treatment that produces soft, supple handling with good abrasion resistance and a longer potential lifespan. It’s also bluesign® approved meaning fewer chemicals, less water and less energy are expended during the production process, resulting in a more ecologically friendly rope.
