Been climbing for a few years now. Spent a couple of summer seasons in the alps which have been awesome. Went on a self organised expedition to the Tien Shan mountains in Kyrgyzstan in 2012, climbed a couple of new routes one which i graded TD. Looking forward to working on my Trad skills a bit more, and hopefully getting a lot of scottish winter routes in this season.
Also on the MIA scheme so working towards that.
The Lake District
Best Climbing Experience
Crypt route was immensely enjoyable, and we abseiled off the top of the arch in the dark which added to the sense of adventure.
Topping out on a peak 5056m first climbed in 2010 after putting up a new route (2012 route - TD) on the north face.
Climbing the Lion Ridge on the Matterhorn on a perfect day and having the summit to yourself.
Forbes arete (spent 14 hours on it, yet was an awesome route and the feeling of getting to the summit after a huge amount of hard work was amazing)
Also pulling over the edge of the snow arete topping out of the Frendo spur was a special moment, as i knew i had finished it.
