I`ve been climbing on and off for more than forty years,never at a particularly high standard,I have climbed in Corsica,Malta ,Scotland and the Alps but mostly on Mendip limestone Avon, Cheddar etc.I am spending a lot more time climbing now than I ever thought I would in my sixties.I am also enjoying working on my skiing technique and there is always room for improvement.I dont think I`ll ever stop enjoying exploring old Mendip Quarries,it is suprising how many there are. I am married with two children.

Best Climbing Experience
1986 Findlay`s Gulch in Glencoe, just seemed to sum up everything I`d ever read or heard about Scottish winter climbing including "Hot Aches" finishing in the dark and a warm welcome in the Claccaigh.2013 completing Cardigano! at Sandford Quarry(Somerset) with Warmauri,proper Mendip climbing,new route loose rock(hit on the wrist by one)bloody cold but brilliant!
