Irish, climbing since 2009. Fortunate enough to live reasonably close to two of the best trad destinations - Fair Head and the Mournes.
Love/hate relationship with the big hills and snowy things, but gravitating towards trad at the moment.
Best Climbing Experience
Lower Cove on a good day, or the E2 corners at Fair Head. Can't beat it.
A few good ones on Ben Nevis. Aonach Eagach on a clear day.
Spending the night in the Midi toilets after being silly on the Contamine Mazeaud. Frendo Spur, Kuffner Arete, Chere Couloir. Faffing about in Chamonix in Summer 2011.
QUBMC expedition to the Kokshaal Too in 2012. Tough but worth it.
Spending Winter 12-13 in Scotland and struggling up a few classics.
Every climbing experience has been worthwhile, even the miserable ones - they're often the ones I learn the most from.
