Started climbing in 1957 aged 15 years. From age 18 to 25 worked as an instructor for the Mountaineering Association during summer months. Got married in 1967 and gave up climbing in 1968. In my 30s and 40s spent a lot of time running and walking the Lakeland fells. Happily married to my second wife and being totally amazed at the way climbing has changed since the 60s.

Location
South Lakes Cumbria

Best Climbing Experience
The first V.S. climb my mates and I ever did. Super Direct on the Milestone Tryfan.

Anything Else We Should Know
Most of the photos that I have posted after Sept.2017 are from the Geoff Oliver collection. These are posted with Geoff's permission he having agreed that they may be of interest to users of the U.K.C site.
Geoff does not use a computer and so is not able to comment on any feedback that may result. On the advice of UKC admin. I have simply uploaded them alongside my own few photos on my existing U.K.C page.
With thanks to Geoff for his kind permission to share his album of memories.
Malcolm Knight, friend and neighbour.
