I've always found it tricky to write these without sounding like a CV, but here goes. I'm a keen climber and hillwalker in general, I don't climb particularly hard, but what I do get up is usually done reasonably well in reasonable style. I'm aiming to improve, but don't feel the need for this to be instant, as I'd rather take a long view and still be climbing in my 70s. I've worked in climbing walls and am involved in the potential development of some new ones, holding my CWA, SPA and nearly ML I'm hoping to get my MIA and winter ML within the next couple of years. Started out climbing on grit where i grew up, now live in Lochaber after a couple of years traversing the university system in Edinburgh. Generally a safe pair of hands on the hill, but you will have to put up with my horrendous taste in worn out orange clothing.
