Best Climbing Experience
Doing Spiral Stairs one warm sunny spring day. It was perfect weather and no one else seemed to be climbing in the pass but us. Near the top a peregrine falcon screamed past at what seemed like mach 2 chasing a pigeon. Later, as I belayed at the top I watched the bird circling below looking for its prey. This made the day perfect.
As Mr Kirkus said: "Going to the right place at the right time with the right people is all that really matters. What one does there is purely incidental."
