Highly active climber based, currently, in North Wales.I prefer trad and winter climbing; however, I also enjoy bouldering, sport climbing, scrambling and hillwalking. I guess I could be described as a fair weather climber; when it's not sunny I'll most probably be found on low grade multi-pitches, scrambles or hillwalks. When it's sunny I like to push my grade and head out cragging or bouldering; I guess, I have a touch of solar-powered-psyche ;). I very much enjoy multi-pitch climbs with a big mountain feel, but tend to only push my grade on single pitch stuff. Being out at the crags and in the hills is as important to me as the actual climbing. That and good company.
Done a fair amount of mountaineering in both summer and winter, in the UK and in the Alps. I like taking trips away and experiencing new places; hopefully this will be a feature through my life as a climber!
Tend to take each day as it comes and I'm pretty relaxed about climbing days and trips; always keen to get as much done as possible but just like to enjoy each route as it comes.
