Andy Say
Typist (Executive Secretary of what is NOW called Mountain Training England - MTE. But you don't need to know that.....). Compulsive attender of meetings.
First route done was Route 1 on Burbage North, Spring 1966. Been climbing on and off ever since throughout the UK (even Lancashire - though I will regret that for the rest of my life)and various obscure places abroad.
Just realised that I am 60; so officially an old git. Just have to rest on me laurels from now on (so updating logbook!)

Best Climbing Experience
The feel of the crystal under the middle finger of my left hand as I pulled into the crux move of Crazy Diamond with the whole crag to myself with an Autumn sun on my back and the mantra I can do this I can do this I can do this in my head.
Don't work routes.
Have no favourite rock.
The Angry Corrie best mag.
Climb in spurts wherever I happen to be.
Orienteering gives me a buzz as well.

Why talk about it?
P.S. What is 'worked grades'? Don't we all do clean on-sights?
