52 year old train driver from Cumbria. Into Gym, Fell Walking, Badminton, Squash.
I moved to Cumbria in 1990 and started the Wainwrights. After various breaks I have decided to pull my finger out and get them all done. Target is October 2012. Note added later - finished the 214 with Lingmoor Fell July 2012!
Back in the day when I was a lad up in the Lakes on holiday, we never really ventured far from the North Western Fells, and recently I have been checking out the Far Eastern and Eastern Fells and have found some lovely spots here. I am looking forward to some visits there over this year.

Best Climbing Experience
First days climbing. Went to the Peak thinking I was going walking and ended up on a rope. Then, 32 years later going back to Stanage to repeat some of those classics. Flying Buttress, although only a V Diff, will always be my favourite! Also, a repeat of Troutdale Pinnacle after 30 years! Great! As far as fell walking goes, St Sunday Crag is a favourite.
