My background is caving so thought i'd try the other end of the spectrum, I spend a lot of time on the hills hiking and i'm a keen rower. I went on my very first 'proper' climb back in 2008 to Glyder Fach, little did i know I would be seconding an HVS 5C with total training amounting to "this is a belay pate, rope goes in like this", now i'm hooked.....

oooh thats a tough one, probably finishing my first route - through the shakey legs and nervous swearing it was an amazing feeling
