Lead E2/E3 but have climbed harder. Like all sorts of climbing from trad rock, winter climbing and mountaineering to sport climbing even occasionally Mam Tor shale routes. Do some running but less so these days having broken my ankle on a ground fall from a damp route in Beresford Dale a few years ago (not recommended). Fortunately got made redundant last year (and took early retirement) so still managing to improve my climbing in spite of increasing age
Best Climbing Experience
Best recent experience (2009) doing Needle, Haystack and Steeple in a week. Doing the Cuillin Ridge twice in perfect weather with a 20 year gap - maybe weather is always like that in Cuillins. 4 days in Applecross in Feb 2010 - perfect weather and conditions - was also pretty memorable.
