Had a top job in telly, stressful, lung collapsed, always wanted to climb mountains, didn't know how, left job, rented out house, moved into camper van, climbing.
Until September 2012 my main thing had been mountaineering & trekking, highlights including some big volcanoes in South America and messing around in Patagonia. Then, I spent 28 days on an intensive rock climbing course at the Brenin and came away extremely keen and addicted. Rope skills were all sorted, just need to work on getting better at the climbing part. Spent first winter knocking around in Scotland and the alps, although broke my leg in a skiing incident, missed 2 months but then came back strong and lead an alpine North Face - Swiss Route, Les Courtes.
Now 2 years on I've got some routes under my belt but this last winter I spent in a wheelchair after taking a big lob off the Petites Jorasses. Back climbing now and heading to the UK for the summer.
I'll be living in a van working on the Ashes cricket, so all over the shop and looking for partners.
