I work offshore in the merchant navy as a trainee marine engineer. (At the moment I am in training for work - so I am onshore and available most weekends/evenings/holidays up until July 2014 - then, after that a 4 week on/4 week off rotation) I have a massive interest in all outdoor sports <after I was taken up my first munro when I was 10 years old. I pick up hobbies really easily and always love to try new things. I love to travel, enjoy socialising and a good laugh.
My main interests are hillwalking, rock climbing (indoor and out) mountain routes/ridges and winter climbing (grade I/II gullies at the moment but aspiring to more technical scottish winter grades in 2013/14) snowboarding, mountain biking.
Once I become qualified and have the time off I am planning to do alot more climbing/snowboarding trips in Europe and N.America. I also have future ambitions for some of the '7 summits' and some of the 8000m peaks.
