I've been climbing for 50 years. I enjoy all disciplines of climbing but only tolerate indoors and bouldering. I have climbed to E5 in the UK and almost completed the Six "Grande Courses" in the alps. These days my best is likely to be E3 but as I have got older I appreciate the added security of bolts and the warmth of Europe more and more. Despite this I am a traditionalist at heart and climb on bolts as opposed to sport climb. I would rather give up climbing than spend a day on a single pitch working the moves.
