I enjoy of the outdoors has taken me all over the world, throughout the seasons, to walk, scramble and climb. I am professional and highly motivated in everything I do, passionate about getting people out there, introducing people of all ages and abilities to the mountains and helping people to fulfill your personal ambitions. My interest in climbing and mountaineering started when I was a boy and I now have over 30 years experience in the mountains. Over the years I have climbed and walked the hills and mountains of the UK and Ireland, and enjoyed many trips abroad (including The Alps, The Dolomites, Yosemite National Park and China). A particular favourite destination is the Picos de Europa in Northern Spain. I am a highly experienced and professionally qualified mountaineer and hold the following qualifications awarded by the Mountain Training Association and the Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI) : MLS, MLW, MIA. In addition, I hold a current Rescue Emergency Care (REC) First Aid Certificate. I am an accredited course provider of the National Navigation Award Schemes (NNAS), Bronze and Silver Awards. My professional memberships include: Mountain Training Association (MTA), The British Mountaineering Association (BMC), the Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI) and The Climbers’ Club of Great Britain (CC)
