Used to be keen, hardly ever get out climbing anymore, just getting fat and middle-aged. Do have vague intentions to change that state of affairs.

Location
Saddleworth (Greater Manc)

Best Climbing Experience
Scott-Braithwaite route, Mt. Kenya; me and my younger brother pushing our boundries way beyond our experience on our first multi-day rock route.
The Nose of El Cap was quite an experience too - 20 years after the S-B on Kenya!
And every day doing spent doing those "favourite routes" below - most of which Ive done only once, so more a list of best experiences really.

Interests Outside Climbing
Cycling. ..doing a bit more of that nowadays, actually - probably due to having no friends.
Mountainy things, skiing, snowboarding... ... do very little of any of that anymore.
Used to be right into Martial arts (Capoeira, Jiu Jitsu, Wing Chun, Karate...) - but those dank sweaty dojos .....just really not for me anymore.

About My Photography

Anything Else We Should Know
Yes, having been registered 20 years, I've just reviewed my profile, and noticed a stipulation that the profile pic "must" be "recent" (sure that wasn't there at the turn of the millenium). So, I've just replaced the 22 year old pic with a not-quite-4 year old one, making it over 5 times more recent! I trust this is in the spirit of the law.
