Anything Else We Should Know
Been hillwalking 48yrs, climbing 43yrs on and off, long past pushing grades, never really did climb that hard anyway.I am much more interested in a pleasant day out in good company. Have introduced numerous novices, I feel you have to put a bit back in, after all I have always been grateful to those who introduced me. I currently lead Diff to Severe. My ideal day out would include a couple of long ish routes on a mountain crag followed by a walk back over a couple of tops.eg The Napes followed by Gable summit and Kirkfell then a whizz down Black Sail to the pub.
