I used to be a Science teacher in London, before I saw the light and moved into outdoor ed. I'm currently working as an Outdoor Learning Facilitator at a specialist school in Edinburgh.

I'm working towards assessment for the Mountain Instructor Award - anybody who wants to me to practise on them, please get in touch to arrange days scrambling or climbing in Scotland or the Lakes.

I studied Physics and Astrophysics in Leeds, where I was an active member of the Leeds Uni MC (1997-2001)

I can play the drums reasonably well but haven't had the opportunity for a while now.
