Had been walking and scrambling in the Scottish mountains since school. Started climbing when I was studying in Dundee, then moved to London for four years (while my rock shoes gathered dust).

Returned to Scotland 2007 and started climbing again. Quickly found that during most idle moments, climbing is never far from my mind.

Not great - but keen to improve.

Best Climbing Experience
Tower Ridge in January 2010.
First season of winter climbing 2007/2008 - Ledge Route, Aonach Eagach, Dorsal Arete, NC Gully, Curved Ridge, Sron na Lairig... ... all great days, lucky with weather, good partners etc.
The Grey Mare's Tail in December 2010.
Leading Agag's Groove and January Jigsaw in lovely sunny weather. Lots of scrambling / easy climbing on Skye.
My first VS lead ('Heathy' VS 4c** at Rosyth, April 2009).
My first HVS lead ('Punk Rock' HVS 5a** at Neilston, September 2009).
