Been climbing since April '05 and enjoy all disciplines of climbing but mainly trad in style. Have done trad, sport, Alpine, Himalayan, ice and Scottish winter climbing since I started.
Work, family and living in Essex makes me time poor and inappropriately located so I read a lot of guidebooks!!
Best Climbing Experience
Hard to say; had so many great experiences (and some not so good ones!) that I really couldn't choose. Uusually the best ones are more than just about the route - maybe it was with a certain partner, a particular place, first whatever-grade, I just can't pick one "best."

Top roping threads. Its like watching Eastenders; you know it will be the same plot line as all previous editions, it will contribute nothing positive to your life but you have to watch just in case there's a bust up!

Interests Outside Climbing
Rugby, but just watching nowadays. Love to ski and working hard at getting better at it. Good food and drink. Rather be outside than in but that's a bit tricky in my job.
About My Photography
When I could be bothered to take a camera the shots aren't that great but when I don't take one I usually miss a perfect sunset.
