Started climbing in the mid '80s, with a number 4 hawser tied round the waist on a bowline, and took it from there. Got roped in to a trip to the Alps in '88 and have been almost every year since, as well as trips to Canada and Nepal, and half a dozen or so Scottish Winter seasons. The arrival of 2 beautiful daughters slowed things down for a while, but they are growing up now so I'm getting more time to push the grades up again and get to work on my wish list.
