Best Climbing Experience
My introduction to climbing was also my first Alpine experience will stay with me forever...early start headlamps and crunching ice and snow under crampons, the glacier crossing then a fantastic ridge climb up to 3658 as the sun came up...Joy. Five return trips later still loving the Alps. Currently getting into uk winter routes in the lakes
Since then costa blanca trad limestone was great, more recently dicovering the delights of the sea cliffs Pembroke, Baggy and Lundy... fantastic.
Been first on the summit Dent Du Geant summer 06 was nice.
My staple diet is grit which i love and hate in equal measures...many many happy days climbing it.

About My Photography
Becoming more involved with photography, after squeezing the best i could out of compacts (mainly due to climbing been the priority) ive recently upgraded to SLR and wished id done it 6 years ago. Currently in a steep learning curve partly at capture but mainly with processing...the arm wrestle continues. This site has some huge photographic talent and must represent the first port of call for mountain photography in the UK,its certainly a constant source of inspiration for me.
Stills for me are much more powerful than video ever can be.
