Started climbing when I was about five on the Scout climbing tower at the county show when I was five. Eleven years later I did my assessment to be able to take scouts climbing on the same tower at the same show! Climbing forces the participant to concentrate on only the climb. Otherwise you may fail, which is minor, or die, which is major. Climbing is the lazy mans road to enlightenment.

I am a climbing instructor for Kent Scouts, any claims I make about fantastic grades are probably false. Climbing for me is a pass time, not a skill, although I am always aiming to change this.

(Do people sign "About Yourself" sections? I don't know. I will though.)

Cheers.

Best Climbing Experience
Any climb that provided you with that exposed, walking the line between life and death feeling. Oh come on, I challenge you to provide a cheeseier answer!

Lake district pubs! Never understood them until we wild camped at angle tarn one summer. We took a jolly down to Old Dungeon Ghyll. First time I'd been in there I thought it was tumble down and grotty. This time, however, I realised that after four days walking and not showering, I was grotty and therefor in no state to judge!
