Living in Japan, climbing very little here and there but very much missing my days on Southern Sandstone with good friends.

Location
Tokyo

Best Climbing Experience
Trips out to Southern Sandstone.

Mistaking a f6b route for a f5 and taking two goes to lead it and snatch my first f6b in October 07.

My three epics all with my good friend Sir Rich Mc Rich. The first being a bad day in Wales near the Idwal Slabs, the second was a multi pitch in Orihuela and the third being a classic and successful ascent of the Penon (last pitch in the dark without headtorches). Result - Tommy and Sir Rich 1, Penon 0.

Soloing a Southern Sandstone 5b route on one of my last days outside. It wasn't very high and I'd top roped it. So I knew I could do it. But that first taste of solo.

My climbing accident. Epic E1 fail. Left Unconquerable 1, Tommy 0. We learn from our mistakes. Massive respect to the Mountain Rescue Team and the many people that got me out of there that day.
