My real name is Steve Robinson. I grew up in the Peak and was obsessed with climbing from the age of 14 - 25, then I moved to the Lakes and drifted away from climbing for a while.

I moved back to Derbyshire 4 years ago to do a university course. Living so close to the gritstone that used to mean so much to me has tempted me back to climbing again.

Best Climbing Experience
Walking back across the Cairngorm plateau with a good mate after doing a route on Stag Rocks. We were knackered, but the moonlight casting our shadows on the snow made up for it.

Lots of happy gritstone memories too.
