Dave Toseland
Retired PE teacher first introduced to climbing in 1970, loved it. Have climbed on and off ever since, mostly trad, (Peak, Gower, North Wales, Lakes, Scotland) but never to any great level. Lead 4a/4b quite happily, 4c on a good day with the wind behind! Every week at the local indoor wall and outside at either Symonds Yat or Wintours Leap (our nearest crags) when weather allows. Climbed in the Alps, on both sport routes and long mountain routes, love it, wish I had the time and money to do more of it. Done a bit of snow and ice stuff in the Andes, Rockies, Himalaya and Alaska, still got lots of ambitions, (was inspired very recently by a pair, 71/76 year old French guys, who were climbing a 5b/5c multi-pitch route in the Hautes Alpes adjacent to the route I was on with my partner!)Location

Interests Outside Climbing
Skiing, hillwalking, rugby coaching, running, indoor rowing, biking, playing golf (watching just about any sport). Reading/Speaking Spanish and French.
About My Photography
Point and shoot Panasonic digital, got hundreds of photos/slides, enjoy showing them to friends and family on the big screen, but that's as far as my interest or ambitions go.
