My name is Paul, I am 51 years old. I was able to retire early last year so moved from the South East to Derbyshire.
I have been climbing for many years but due to work and location it was very sporadic therefore I led VS 4c for many years (but have seconded E2). Since moving to Derbyshire, and getting more mileage in, I have led my first HVS and up'ed my sport grade to 6A.
I also ice climb and lead WI IV.
I love mountaineering and in my time have climbed in the Alps and Himalaya (On one occasion).

Best Climbing Experience
A road trip in 2005 to USA. Iced climbed in Vail and Ouray. Then rock climbed in Archers national park, Zion, then on to Red Rocks, outside Vegas.
