I got into climbing through an alpine course I did in Huaraz while travelling in South America. Also love winter climbing and multi-pitch mountain trad routes and scrambling. Have done two trips to the Cordillera Blanca and looking forward to my fifth trip to the Alps in July. Have now done and handful of D/D+ routes and looking to get some more of these under my belt before thinking about a TD North face route.

Looking to go climb outside after work this summer at Symonds Yat or Lower Wye Valley, so if interested in this sometime drop me a message.

Best Climbing Experience
Simul-soloing the Welzenbach Route on Lyskamm North-East Face in August 2011. Seeing Alpamayo up close from the col camp, although not climbing it due to partner being unwell. Soloing Grooved Arete on Tryfan. Leaving Kandersteg campsite by headtorch circa 3am to climb the Fruendenhorn in a day. Solo crossing of the Eastern Berner Oberland from Grindelwald to Grimsel Pass via the Schreckhorn Hut, Strahleggpass and the Aar Bivouac. Countless other great moments in the Swiss Alps, Cordillera Blanca and Snowdonia
