Hubby persuaded me to try indoor climbing as we approached 40. As a former dancer I enjoy the movement aspect but I'm short and have never had upper body strength (arms are for waving about gracefully) so I'm still bimbling contentedly on 5s and 5+. He's tried taking me climbing outdoors but I gibbered enough to convince him not to take me again. I always look for the easiest way to the other side of a hill, not the hardest way to the top!
