I have been climbing and mountaineering for a good few years now. My travels have taken me to the Himalayas, Iceland, Spain, France, Africa and many other places. This year I plan to globe trot and see a few more places! I love the outdoors and anything to do with it.I am currently a teacher at a high school in Stoke on Trent, I am also a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Officer . Both these jobs mean I get to spend time outdoors, either on expedition with groups or out in the Peak, worlds best job if you ask me!
I am passionate about the outdoors and it will always be huge influence in my life. I enjoy teaching anything outdoors, and I have worked for several outdoor centres and I plan to continue it for as long as I can, delivering training and activities to the best of my ability. My work with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award really allows me to transfer the passion I have to the younger generation and hopefully inspire a few people along the way!
All in all I like helping people and sharing knowledge with others, whether that is listening or speaking, so any questions you feel I could help with please drop me a line!

Interests Outside Climbing
Outdoor education of any kind; Kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, team building stuff. I also work as a Duke of Edinburgh Volunteer instructor, working training bronze, silver and gold groups within Stoke on Trent. To date I have successfully seen over 470 students pass their Duke of Edinburgh at various levels. I am also involved with the Air Training Corps as a Civilian Instructor where I have been involved with everything from weapons training to navigation training.
