I'm Irish but have been living & working (engineering) in Switzerland for 10 years. I do a lot of skitouring in winter & spring. Started climbing 4 years ago and really enjoy it. Also a keen road biker & hiker. Currently my partners are Swiss & Italian. I signed up to this forum to better understand the UK approach to mountaineering & find some other partners.
