Hello, I'm Tony. I spent 2012 being optimistic; well mostly. Amongst other things, it resulted in my getting married. Hooray! In 2013, I am aiming to be cheerful.

Best Climbing Experience
Oh, so many...seems a bit unfair to choose just one. My worst was getting to the top of my first hill in the Alps only to find later that the camera had no film in.

Favourite Climbing-Related Discussion Topic
Why digital cameras are so much better than ordinary cameras for the forgetful climber heading to the Alps. Pies. Beer. What kind of noise a llama makes. The difficulty of getting a decent lightweight tent if you're tall.

But give me food and a following wind and on a good day I can rant about almost anything, frequently to myself.
