Started climbing in the Peak District 30 years ago.
Just finished my French national climbing guiding diploma (Brevet d’Etat d’Escalade)- AFAIK am the only Brit to have this.
Now living in the Verdon and climbing full-time.
Last year completed the 2nd free ascent of Mingus (a 400m 8a). This year,Seance Tenante 8a, Graphique 8a+, and Les Braves Gens 8b.

Nov.2008 All free ascent of Moonlight Buttress in Zion(5.12d trad)
Onsights of Astroman, Separate Reality (5.12 roof); La Guerre Sainte (7b+) in Wadi Rum; Yesterday (26) at Arapiles; and Stoned Oven (serious 15-pitch 5.12) in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
Nov 2009: Cosmic Debris(Yosemite)5.13b Flash, Electric Africa(Tuolumne) 5.12d.
June 2010: "Liqueur de Coco" 7c+ Verdon, the week of my 50th birthday!
July 2012: "The Fish"(as far as the ledge at 20 pitches) Marmolada
July 2012: "Makach Walou"7c+ Flash (Ceuze).
Sept 2013: "La Femme Blanche" 8a+ RP (Ceuze).
Climbing and equipping new routes around Bangalore, with local Indian climbers.
Other favourite routes include Salathé Wall,
Snake Dyke (Yosemite); Ula,L'Ange en Décomposition (Verdon); Motorhead(Eldorado,Grimsel), and anything world-class
whatever the grade...
