Love walking the hills but not carrying a sack full of kit to mountain crags. Much prefer the immediacy of outcrops where it's often at you as soon as you step off the floor. Probably now classified as a 'has been' (although it's debateable if I ever was a 'been').

Location
Deepest, darkest Lancashire!

Best Climbing Experience
Caving was always my thing - expeditions abroad or digging for new stuff at home. It's much more of a team thing and all of my 'best' experiences were in the dark! Climbed a lot of new routes - even a few worthwhile ones but it's the caving that will stay with me.

Why didn't the garrison at Housesteads fort develop Crag Lough or Queen's Crag when they had the chance?

Anything Else We Should Know
Always looking for people to help develop new crags or plugging gaps on established ones. Mostly in the Dales, Lakes and North Pennines. If you're of an exploratory mind get in touch.
