I've nearly always been self employed, usually with computers. I've tried to break away but ... it's what I know. Family commitments have usually curtailed serious climbing ambitions but I still get away, I'm still doing it.

My first piece of gear was a hemp waist band and steel screwgate. I'm an unreconstructed Marxist who enjoys mixing it in the private sector.

Most people are not as clever as they think they are. This is particularly true of computer people.
