I think I'm now in what they call remission from cancer. If so and the prognosis is good (I'm told), then I've been very lucky and now wanting to live life to the full. Dad to two boys working in military aviation. Love good English food and any decent beer brewed locally to where I'm drinking it.

Interests Outside Climbing
Took up mountain biking a couple of years ago and soon realised that old bones don't mend as quickly as young one but hey, what's a bit of pain. Have now got a road bike as well and love the long days out. Everton Football Club and cricket - Lancashire and England all formats.

Anything Else We Should Know
To old to do the things I want to do well and to young to stop doing the things I cant do.....its still fun trying!! Live near Blackpool and have been walking and scrambling for 25 years. Loves life and don't want to slow down....even though some of my 'friends' reckon I should!!!!
