I am an experienced rock climber who still loves the sport after almost 40 years at it. I mainly climb trad but I enjoy sport too. I am based in the south west and train at the quay in Exeter. I have definitely peaked but currently climb UK trad E3 6a, sport up to 7a. I want to climb as much as possible now that I have brought up my family and don't need to work quite so hard! I have just got back from a cool trip to California (Yosemite, Tuolumne, Eastern Sierra and Joshua Tree) where i managed to drag my bones up some 5.11s.Location

Best Climbing Experience
Difficult to single one out but had great time new routing at Nesscliff. On sight Lord of the Flies was a high point, but a long time ago. Climbing Interogation on Haytor in evening sunshine was a joy. Oz and Lucky Streaks in Tuolumne also rank high.
