Enjoy climbing at the indoor walls once a week and holidays somewhere warm in Europe.
Recently retired so am enjoying climbing during the day when its quiet. Been retired 10 years now and still cranking.

Location
Bury

Best Climbing Experience
I don't have one that stands out except to say that its the long multi-pitch routes that I remember as being the best. Routes that spring to mind are Zepperlin at El Chorro, Princessa in Mallorca, Mia Africa in Sardinia and several in the Durance Valley France.

Interests Outside Climbing
off road motorcycling - took this up 2 years ago and haven't looked back. Go out at least once a week and sometimes twice. Wish I'd started years ago - I need to make up for lost time. Been to France and Romania this year.
Cycling - used to go out every week-end Mountain biking and got really fit but since I started motorcycling I've not done any. My two bikes are gathering dust.
I also did some Road cycling but have also let this slip. Spent many holidays in Europe cycling.

About My Photography
Rubbish. Not very interested in taking pictures but enjoy looking at them.

Anything Else We Should Know
Just broken my leg Oct 2010. Fell off motorcycle. Nasty break 3mts on crutches to bore me.
Have made a decision to climb twice a week when my leg is better so will be looking for a second partner to climb with during the day - Manchester, Stockport or Warrington.
I'm an excellent belayer - I've seen far too many people who are really very poor.
Very supportive and enjoy helping my partners improve with advice on technique and training.
Having a great time and a good laugh with whoever I'm climbing with. I might sound serious but its just my passion for the sport that sometimes gets the better of me.
Ruptured my Achilles Tendon in June 2019. Out of plaster now and back climbing
