Husband and father to 2 teenagers limits how much time I've had for climbing over the years; Living in the mountainous desert that is Somerset doesn't help.
My wife and I run an exhibition design consultancy, which means I can organise days off in the week fairly easily. I like to keep fairly fit and use mountain trips as a reason to train - I also do a bit of mountain biking (the hills round us are quite good for that) I'm about 6ft and 14st. Doesn't make me sound very dynamic, but I do enjoy a good laugh!

They're all a bit of a laugh (some people have far too much time on their hands)

Interests Outside Climbing
reading, films, I enjoy cooking (although don't do enough according to my wife)
I do alot of DIY,not entirely out of choice. The kid's take up a fair bit of my time, but they're becoming increasingly independent (and interested in climbing which is good). I enjoy travelling - the journey as well as the destination.
