Big Steve

Dont take too much notice of my climbing grades; I have barely climbed for over a year and struggled on a severe when I last did manage to get out. Hoping for more climbing days this year though

Best Climbing Experience
So many good ones - standing on my first 4000m peak in the Alps many years ago, superb slab climbing in Sardinia, watching the sunset over Stanage with some good friends, Wadi Rum, climbing new routes in Turkey

Anything Else We Should Know
I run a website www.myturkishadventure.com which is getting bigger and causing more headaches almost daily.

Married to a wonderful Turkish lady, currently sharing my time between UK and Turkey, cant wait until I can finally leave these shores for good.
I'm not climbing much at the moment, I have run out of partners and the price of diesel is too high to keep driving north.

I also run a small website selling imported hiking socks, www.sportssocks.co.uk Sherpa X socks are at least as good as anything on the market but at half the price. I'm looking to expand my range in 2015, imported rucksacks and stoves are in the pipeline
